Put the butter and sugar in a bowl and mix them together.
Then add eggs and vanilla essence and continue to mix.
In another bowl, mix the flour with the walnuts, the baking powder and the salt, then pour this mixture over the previous one.
Mix until all the ingredients are incorporated, then mix a little by hand until the dough is ready.
The dough should be soft and sticky. We will wrap it in food foil and put it in the fridge for at least 2 hours or overnight.
After the dough has hardened, take it out of the fridge and then break the small pieces from which we form balls. We will give the dough balls through powdered sugar (a generous layer), then we will put them on a tray lined with baking paper, taking care to leave space between them.
Put the tray in the preheated oven at 180 degrees (over medium heat) and let the cookies bake for approx. 12-15 minutes. Do not leave them longer because they will harden too much after cooling.
Bake them in several rounds until we finish the dough.
The remaining dough is kept in the refrigerator until the next baking round is ready.
After they are ready, we leave them to cool and then store them in a container with a lid (if they are covered, they will freeze even more from one day to the next).
I wish you good luck!
